Kaiserin van Paemel
already charmed us as a young horse. This
beautiful daughter of Cicero Z van Paemel out
of our stock mare Sissi
won the regional championship for
five-year-old horses under Filip Lacus after
two clear qualifications in Incourt. As a
six-year-old she was successfully mated with
Kannan and brought us
Killer Queen van
Paemel Z the following year. Under
Andres Vereecke she resumed competition and
showed a lot of potential, but an injury
quickly put the end of her sport career. The
now five-year-old Killer Queen is a compact
mare, who has a beautiful jumping technique
with sufficient scope. She clearly caught the
eye of others, as she was sold to Louke
Baeten's stable after her second competition.
Kaiserin is the full sister of
no fewer than four approved
stallions.
Gigolo
van Paemel (by
Cicero Z van
Paemel) was
approved in 2010 for breeding at
the BWP. Gigolo stands out for
his elegant exterior, correct
gaits and impulsion. Gigolo not
only looks beautiful, he also
knows how to convince on the
jump due to his scope. As a
5-year-old he already won his
first victory at the BWP
stallion championship under Nick
Vrins. Gigolo also did very well
in the stallion competition,
with clear rounds in Flanders
Horse Expo Gent, 't Overdijk and
the WEN. At his first
international competition with
Dirk Demeersman, he was sold to
Ukraine. Unfortunately, Gigolo
had to deal with an injury that
ruled out a further sporting
career. He was then stabled in
Finland for a few years, where
he was approved for the Finnish
Warmblood. The first crop of
Gigolo contains noble foals with
a good canter and promises for
the future. At the end of last
year, Gigolo moved to sunny
Italy where he is currently at
stud.
The younger
Jaguar
van Paemel
(by
Cicero Z van
Paemel) is in
a class of its
own. The
blood-made
stallion
immediately
catches the
eye with his
expressive
head and
elegant
exterior. On
the jump he
shows that he
has unlimited
power and uses
a beautiful
technique. At
the beginning
of 2012, he
was approved
by Studbook
Zangersheide,
where the jury
regarded him
as one of the
best stallions
offered. Under
saddle he
managed to
confirm again
two years
later. With
great
flexibility
and technique
he completed a
flawless
course under
Dirk
Demeersman and
was thus
definitively
approved.
With Dirk
Demeersman in
the saddle,
the stallion
always managed
to impress
under saddle.
His excellent
technique and
unlimited
power made him
a feast for
the eyes. As a
six-year-old
horse, he
already proved
his potential
with a 2nd
place in the
final for
young horses
in Beervelde
and several
placings in
Lummen and at
the Stephex
Masters. As a
seven-year-old
he immediately
won the first
round of the
2016 stallion
competition. A
year later he
won his first
1m40 Grand
Prix in the
Azelhof in
Lier. Jaguar
and Dirk
Demeersman
grew to 1m50
level, and
after a short
period in
which Aldrick
Cheronnet took
over the
reins, Jaguar
was sold to
America. In
California he
continues his
career as a
breeding
stallion and
proves to be
popular. His
offspring
inherit his
long-legged
model, as well
as his
technique and
scope. They
are high in
the blood, but
have a very
affectionate
character. His
first
offspring
perform well
with the young
horses and
with Jewel ASK
he already has
an approved
son by the
Danish
Warmblood.
Inshallah van
Paemel and
Kirr Royal van Paemel were also
approved for the AES studbook. Inshallah was
sold to China as a young horse and Kirr Royal
jumped up to 1m40 level with Bernardo Mathias.
The now eight-year-old
Coconut van Paemel
Z stands out for her beautiful looks
and excellent jumping technique. The scopey
Cicero Z van Paemel daughter qualified as a
six-year-old for the Belgian Championship
under the saddle of Jelle Limbourg after a few
nice clear rounds in the cycle for young
horses. Last summer Andres Vereecke took over
the reins and not without success. In
Bonheiden they jumped their first
international competition at the beginning of
October and Coconut immediately recorded three
nice clear rounds. This was followed by three
weeks of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in
Oliva. Coconut impressed with five placings,
including a first, second and eighth place and
the victory in the 1m40 final for
seven-year-old horses! We are already looking
forward to the future.
The second son of Sissi
was Ulexis
(by Alexis Z), who was sold via Stephex to
Canada, where he was successfully competed
internationally by Natalie Jones. In
combination with the former number one in the
world, Darco, Sissi gave three offspring. Her
eldest daughter,
Vilja van de Mullegracht, was
immediately used in breeding and her first
offspring Corinne
van Paemel (by Sheyenne de Baugy)
received the elite predicate from the BWP
thanks to her results. Vilja
gave
Farinelli van Paemel in combination
with Cicero Z van Paemel. Under the saddle of
Jean Charles Bernast he jumps at international
1m45 level. For example, they became 6th in
the Grand Prix of CSI Cagnes-sur-Mer.
Welshman van Paemel
(sport name: Welshman II) jumped up to 1m45
level under the saddle of Nicole Pavitt. His
younger half-brother
Apache
(by Darco) became
an ex aequo winner of the cycle in the
5-year-olds after completing 8 rounds of 8
clears with his rider Filip Lacus. Apache also
qualified for the final in Gesves after
completing both qualifications without jumping
faults. He then successfully ran international
Grand Prix at 1m45 level with the Italian
Vincenzo Carlino, with a 5th place in the GP
of CSI Fiumicino.
Sissi's full brother
Savant
(sport name: Choreography) was sold to the
United States after approval in Hanover, where
he jumped the roof under his rider Tracy
Sully. To top it all off, Sissi was also the
full sister of
Sheila 73, one of the best performance
mares from Hanover ridden by Franke Sloothaak
and Daniel Deusser. At the age of 8, Sheila
achieved a 4th place in the 1m60 class in
Berlin and since then she has accumulated
places of honor in all kinds of World Cup
classes and Grand Prix. Her first offspring,
Fair Play
(by Fabriano) is Zangersheide approved and
jumped at 1m45 level under Giovanni Magaton.
Together they won the Grand Prix of Cervia in
2009. Sissi's younger sister,
Silvia, is a
daughter of Silvio I. Her Stakkato son
Smint 2 is
doing very well at 1m45-1m50 level with Tina
Deuerer and Noemie Goergen. In 2015 they
became 2nd in the 1m50 Nations Cup of Celje,
4th in a 1m45 class in Eschweiler, 5th in a
1m45 during CSIO Linz,...
Her
grandmother's full brother is the
Hanoverian approved stallion
Archipel
and her other brother,
Agent,
was approved at the Oldenburg. A full
sister of Archipelia has produced the
international breeding stallion
Cashman
(by Contender). In addition to 3
approved sons, Archipelia's mother
also produced 5
staatspremiestuten.
