19-12-2021  Coconut closes the year in style

For the last competition of this year, Andres Vereecke saddled Coconut van Paemel Z (Cicero Z van Paemel x Sandro Z) at the Azelhof in Lier. Coconut started the first day with a nice clear round in the seven-year-old horses. The final was held on Saturday and Coco was again present. She jumped a clear course which qualified her for the jump-off. Andres again guided her efficiently and flawlessly through the jump-off, which resulted in a nice second place. This is how the combination closed the year in style.

05-12-2021  Balouto & Moulin Rouge take placings

Our Balouto van Paemel Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Colman) had his last competition of 2021 on the program this week. Andres Vereecke decided to go to the Sentower Park in Opglabbeek. In the class for seven- and eight-year-old horses, the duo gained a 4th place. At the end of November, Moulin Rouge van Paemel (Numero Uno x Carthago Z) took part in the CSIO3* Vilamoura. Under the saddle of Duarte Seabra, the mare achieved a 2nd place in a 1m40 class.

11-11-2021  Coconut wins the final!

The last week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour traditionally means that the final for the young horses is on the program. Where the previous classes for the seven-year-olds were built 1m35, the final is at a height of 1m40. For Coconut van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Sandro Z), who jumped her first 1m40 class ever, this turned out to be no problem at all, on the contrary. The mare showed her scope, technique and competition mentality. Together with Andres Vereecke she easily qualified for the jump-off, which ultimately consisted of thirteen combinations. Andres felt she was good and went full steam ahead with Coconut, who jumped another super lap. They managed to beat the time and actually took the win! Autumn MET II turned out to be a real success for Coconut and Andres. In eight classes, the duo achieved two victories, a second and eighth place and a joint first place. They also ended up being third best seven-year-old over the three weeks.

05-11-2021  Coconut wins her first class in Oliva

After a successful first week in Oliva, Coconut van Paemel Z and Andres Vereecke continued with the same momentum this week. The seven-year-old daughter of our Cicero Z van Paemel and Sissi (Sandro Z x Argentan I) was clear on the first day, resulting in a joint first place. On the third day, Andres felt Coconut's confidence and took advantage of her good canter and scope in the two-phase class. She once again managed to stay clear in a time that no one could improve. Thus their first victory was a fact!

30-10-2021  Coconut 2nd in Oliva

Andres Vereecke took our Coconut van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Sandro Z) with him to the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva, to jump the classes for seven-year-old horses for three consecutive weeks. Due to her lack of experience, it was mainly the intention to get her up to level and in competition rhythm. Coconut, however, clearly knows how to tackle things and immediately showed her excellent competitive mentality. Where she got a bad luck fault on the first day, she stayed nicely clear on the second day and qualified for the jump-off. Her first real jump-off immediately gave her a fantastic second place! The following day the duo again remained clear with a smooth lap that resulted in an 8th place.

09-10-2021  Coconut makes faultless debut

Last summer Andres Vereecke took over the reigns of Coconut van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Sandro Z). The gorgeous mare made her debut the last couple of days at Bonheiden and her first international show could not go any better. Coconut did not come anywhere near the fences and jumped three days clear in the classes for seven-year-old horses. Even in the 1m35 final she jumped them effortlessly faultless. A promise for the future!

29-09-2021  Balouto and Cuba Libre show potential at WC

The impressive domain of Studfarm Zangersheide was once again the stage for the World Championship for Young Horses after a year of absence. Unfortunately, luck was not on the side of our horses. The seven-year-old Balouto van Paemel Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Colman) jumped convincingly under the saddle of Andres Vereecke, but got an unlucky mistake in both qualifiers and the consolation class. Our five-year-old Cuba Libre van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) also showed his scope under Frederik Dekens.

12-09-2021  Balouto placed at Bonheiden

Past weekend Balouto van Paemel Z was present at a show in Bonheiden. The beautiful Baloubet du Rouet son out of Isis van Paemel (Colman x Darco) managed to jump to a nice 8th place in the class for seven-year-old horses with Andres Vereecke.

22-08-2021  Kingston wins GP and Moulin Rouge takes ribbons in Deauville

Our Zangersheide approved Kingston van Paemel (Numero Uno x Randel Z) impressed today at the French Villeneuve sur Lot. At the national show he jumped in an impressive manner to the victory in the 1m45 Grand Prix under the saddle of Aldrick Cheronnet. The home bred Moulin Rouge van Paemel (Numero Uno x Carthago Z) also took some ribbons last weekend. At the three star competition in Deauville the mare managed to gain a nice 2nd and 5th place in the 1m40 classes under the Portuguese rider Duarte Seabra. Closer to home our five-year-old Cuba Libre van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) was present at the Belgian Championship for Young Horses in Gesves. With Frederik Dekens he jumped a nice clear round in the second qualifier, but an unlucky fault on the first day unfortunately kept them out of the final.

14-08-2021  Balouto finalist BC seven-year-old horses

This year the Belgian Championship for seven-year-old horses took place at Sentower Park at Opglabbeek. Under the saddle of Andres Vereecke our approved Balouto van Paemel Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Colman) came at the start of the 1m40 qualifiers. On the first day the combination got an unlucky fault, but thanks to a great clear and fast round in the second qualifier Balouto and Andres placed themselves for the final. In the tough final the fatigue proved to be to great, but Balouto certainly showed his potential.

17-07-2021  Cuba Libre once again clear

Cuba Libre van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) managed to jump his fourth clear round during the STX cycle in Waregem with Frederik Dekens. This way the five-year-old approved stallion ensured himself of a place during the Belgian Championship for Young Horses at Gesves.

10-07-2021  Balouto clear in Ommen and Cuba Libre in Wuustwezel

Our AES approved Cuba Libre van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) is clearly in shape. At the STX cycle in Wuustwezel the low amount of clear rounds proved that the course for the five-year-old horses was a tough one. This turned out to be no problem at all for our Cuba Libre, who not only jumped a convincing clear round but jumped his best course so far under the saddle of Frederik Dekens. Our Zangersheide approved Balouto van Paemel Z showed some nice rounds too this weekend. Together with Andres Vereecke the seven-year-old Baloubet du Rouet x Colman son jumped the CSI1* Ommen. On the first day he jumped a nice round in the 1m35 class with only one time fault and the day after the combination jumped a nice double clear in the 1m35 class.

27-06-2021  Cuba Libre and Fiesta faultless

The third leg of the STX cycle for young horses took place at Sportstal Vanderhasselt. Our powerful and scopey Cicero Z x Calvaro Z son Cuba Libre van Paemel Z showed his talent and stayed nicely clear in the five-year-old horses with Frederik Dekens. The four-year-old Fiesta van Paemel (For Pleasure x Quidam de Revel) also jumped a nice clear round under Jelle Limbourg.

21-06-2021  Kingston 8th in Grand Prix Barcelona

While Jazira van Paemel Z (Jaguar van Paemel x Numero Uno) jumped a second clear round in the STX cyclus at Basècles, Kingston van Paemel did excellent at Barcelona. The Zangersheide approved Numero Uno x Randel Z stallion started with a 10th place in a 1m40 class before jumping on Sunday. In the 1m45 Grand Prix he jumped a nice clear with Aldrick Cheronnet placing himself for the jump-off. Kingston kept once again a clean sheet and managed to jump to a great 8th place in the 17 combination jump-off.

14-06-2021  Successful first leg of the STX cyclus

What a dream start for our young horses at the first leg of the STX cycle in Baudour, where no fence was touched. This was the show debut for our four year old mares and together with Jelle Limbourg Killer Queen van Paemel Z (Kannan x Cicero Z), Kiss Me Quick van Paemel Z (Kannan x Colman), Jazira van Paemel Z (Jaguar van Paemel x Numero Uno) and Fiesta van Paemel (For Pleasure x Quidam de Revel) kept a clean sheet. Our five-year-old horses did an excellent job too. Our AES approved Cuba Libre van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) jumped a great clear with Frederik Dekens. Also Chance van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Cento) and Cheetah van Paemel Z (Cardento x Carthago Z) jumped a clear round under Jelle Limbourg. Kingston van Paemel (Numero Uno x Randel Z) on his turn jumped twice clear in a 1m40 and 1m45 class with Aldrick Cheronnet at the two star competition at Vidauban.

05-06-2021  Kingston wins national GP and Balouto placed in Bonheiden

Two weeks ago the Zangersheide approved Kingston van Paemel participated at a national show at Toulouse Saint-Orens. The Numero Uno son of Rendez-Vous van Paemel (Randel Z x Graphit) did not only jump convincingly double clear, but managed to set the fastest time in the Grand Prix with Aldrick Cheronnet. A nice victory for the duo. Last week our other Zangersheide approved Balouto van Paemel Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Colman) also jumped into the spotlight. Under the saddle of Andres Vereecke Balouto came to the start of the classes for seven-year-old horses during CSIYH Bonheiden. The combination jumped to a nice 4th place on the first day and ended their show with a 7th place in the 1m35 final.

10-05-2021  Balouto 3rd final youngster tour Valkenswaard

This weekend Balouto van Paemel Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Colman) travelled to the beautiful accommodation of Tops International Arena at Valkenwaard. Under the saddle of Andres Vereecke the Zangersheide approved stallion jumped on the impressive grass arena for the first time. Balouto was not impressed and jumped to a great third place on Sunday in the jump-off of the final of the young horses class. The day before, he also remained clear, which resulted in a seventh place.

02-04-2021  Casanova approved

We proudly present you Casanova van Paemel Z. The striking genetic pearl is the last son of our beloved Rendez-Vous van Paemel (Randel Z x Graphit) in combination with the legendary Casall ASK. Casanova is a typical son of his father, an elegant stallion with a lot of expression and a pleasant character. In loose jumping he shows scope on the jump combined with a nice technique. As son of Rendez-Vous Casanova is not only the half-brother of the well-known sire Cicero Z van Paemel, but also of the Zangersheide approved Kingston van Paemel (ISJ 1m60), Hawaï van Paemel (ISJ 1m60), the BWP approved Esperanto van Paemel and the 1m45 performing Clovis van Paemel Z. Further in the damline we find among others the horses  Che Guevara van Paemel Z, Moulin Rouge van Paemel, Barbarossa van Paemel, Don Camillo van Paemel, Ciska van Paemel Z, Jamaica van Paemel and Winona van Paemel, who all performe(d) at 1m50-1m60 level. Casanova is approved for the AES studbook and is daily available with fresh semen at Hengstenhouderij Dekens.

07-03-2021  Balouto wins!

After three weeks of learning school at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva Balouto van Paemel Z takes home his first cup. Our Baloubet du Rouet x Colman stallion, who is approved for Studbook Zangersheide, stayed clear in the two phases and was clearly the fastest in the last 1m35 class for seven-year-old horses. Together with Andres Vereecke he managed to write their first victory on his palmares. We are hopeful for the future!

23-02-2021  Moulin Rouge 5th Vilamoura  - Cuba Libre clear SC

The eight-year-old Moulin Rouge van Paemel (Numero Uno x Carthago Z) is doing very well with the Portuguese rider Duarte Seabra. The combination gained a nice 5th place in a 1m45 class during the 3* competition at Vilamoura. For our five-year-old Cuba Libre van Paemel Z the first leg of the PAVO stallion competition at Sentower Park was on the program. The Cicero Z van Paemel son out of Roxanne K du Kulterken (Calvaro Z x Quito de Baussy) showed his skills and stayed nicely clear under the saddle of Frederik Dekens.

11-02-2021  Balouto makes his debut with Andres Vereecke

Our Zangersheide approved Balouto van Paemel Z moved to the stables of Andres Vereecke. The seven-year-old Baloubet du Rouet son of our Isis van Paemel (Colman x Darco) made his debut during the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva. With his new rider he delivered a clear round in the class for seven-year-old horses.
