17-11-2020  Cicero 29th on WBFSH Ranking 2020!

We are so proud of our king Cicero Z van Paemel who takes 29th place on the WBFSH Sire Ranking 2020. So grateful that our once in a lifetime horse and the apple of our eye remains in the top 30 of the world! Especially after such a strange year with less competitions and significant transfers of a couple of Cicero offspring. It takes a special horse to make special descendants. Cicero will again be daily available with fresh semen at Studfarm Zangersheide next year. Ready to produce the next generation of top showjumpers.

30-10-2020  Mambo sold

A few days ago we and Aldrick Cheronnet said goodbye to our lovely Mambo van Paemel. The eight-year-old Ugano Sitte son out of Betina van Paemel (Darco x Randel Z) did very well with Aldrick and was placed in almost every show he went. We wish him good luck with his new owner. We are sure he will make her happy! Meanwhile Kingston van Paemel (Numero Uno x Randel Z) took 8th place in a 1m40 class at CSI2* Valencia with Aldrick Cheronnet.

18-10-2020  Kingston wins national GP Saint Orens

Speaking of a nice way to end the weekend... Our Zangersheide approved Kingston van Paemel competed at a national show at Saint Orens, Toulouse. The Numero Uno son of our beloved Rendez-Vous van Paemel (Randel Z x Graphit) cleared all the fences and took home the win with his French rider Aldrick Cheronnet in the national 1m40 Grand Prix.

10-10-2020  Moulin Rouge placed in Vejer de la Frontera

It's always nice to see your products doing well after they're sold. Today we saw Moulin Rouge van Paemel debuting in her first 1m45 class ever. And what a debut. The Numero Uno daughter of our broodmare Cayenne van Paemel Z (Carthago Z x Darco) jumped clear and took a 10th place with her Portuguese rider Duarte Seabra at CSI3* Vejer de la Frontera, better known as the Sunshine Tour. Meanwhile the five-year-old Jolie Folie van Paemel Z (Jaguar van Paemel x Quidam de Revel) is doing well in France. The mare who is trained by Aldrick Cheronnet started competing this summer. She managed to jump clear in all the five courses she jumped so far.

23-09-2020  Kingston placed in St. Tropez

Our Zangersheide approved Kingston van Paemel (Numero Uno x Randel Z) had traveled to Saint Tropez once again. In the CSI3* he became 10th in a 1m45 ranking class with Aldrick Cheronnet.

11-09-2020  Bad luck during BC

Due to COVID-19 the Belgian Championship for Young Horses didn't take place at Gesves, but instead was divided between Azelhof in Lier and Sentower Park in Opglabbeek. Both Cuba Libre van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) and Chance van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Cento) delivered a great clear round in the first qualifier of the Belgian Championship for four-year-old horses. Unfortunately they both had one down in the second qualifier.   Our six-year-old Balouto van Paemel Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Colman) definitely showed his potential under the saddle of Frederik Dekens during the Belgian Championship. Sadly they had an unlucky fault in the first qualifier for the Belgian Championship.

25-08-2020  Kingston 4th national GP

The Numero Uno x Randel Z son Kingston van Paemel went to a national show last weekend with Aldrick Cheronnet. The pair finished 4th in the national 1m40 Grand Prix of Saint Orens. Our horses in Belgium did a great job in the STX cycle. Our 4-year-old Cuba Libre van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) & Chance van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Cento) and our 6-year-old Balouto van Paemel Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Colman), Nikita van Paemel Z (Numero Uno x Randel Z), Coconut van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Sandro) & Chanel van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Cento) are all qualified for the Belgian Championship! Thanks to our riders Frederik Dekens and Jelle Limbourg, and all the helping hands!

16-08-2020  10th place for Balouto

Sportstal Vanderhasselt in Ternat organized the STX cycle this weekend. Cuba Libre van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) delivered another clear round with Frederik Dekens in the four-year-old horses, just like Cheetah van Paemel Z (Cardento x Carthago Z) and Jelle Limbourg. Our Zangersheide approved stallion Balouto van Paemel Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Colman) delivered a great double clear to secure a superb 10th place with Frederik Dekens. Both Nikita van Paemel Z (Numero Uno x Randel Z) and Coconut van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Sandro) jumped great but had an unfortunate mistake in the second phase with Jelle Limbourg.

10-08-2020  Cuba Libre and Nikita clear

Azelhof in Lier hosted the next leg of the STX cycle. Our four-year-old approved Cuba Libre van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) jumped his third clear round with Frederik Dekens. Nikita van Paemel Z (Numero Uno x Randel Z) jumped once again double clear in the class for six-year-old horses with Jelle Limbourg.

02-08-2020  Nikita, Coconut and Chanel clear again

Nikita van Paemel Z (Numero Uno x Randel Z), Chanel van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Cento) and Coconut van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Sandro) repeated their result and jumped double clear under the saddle of Jelle Limbourg at the STX cycle at Gesves.

26-07-2020  Fourth cycle

This weekend the STX cycle took us to Halkin Stables at Vosselare. Both Chance van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Cento) and Cheetah van Paemel Z (Cardento x Carthago Z) jumped clear with Jelle Limbourg in the class for four-year-old horses. For Chance this was her fourth clear on four rounds. Our six-year-old mares, Nikita van Paemel Z (Numero Uno x Randel Z), Chanel van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Cento) and Coconut van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Sandro), were definitely on fire Sunday, since Jelle Limbourg managed to jump double clear with all of them.

20-07-2020  Third cycle

Manege Woutershof in Hasselt was the stage of the third STX cycle. Chance van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Cento) jumped her third clear round in the four-year-old horses under the saddle of Jelle Limbourg. Our six-year-old horses performed very well despite they all had 4 penalties in the second phase. We are very pleased with Balouto van Paemel Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Colman) ridden by Frederik Dekens and Chanel van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Cento) & Coconut van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Sandro) ridden by Jelle Limbourg.

14-07-2020  Kingston 10th St.-Tropez  -  Cycle Sentower Park

Our Zangersheide approved Kingston van Paemel (Numero Uno x Randel Z) performed once again with his French rider Aldrick Cheronnet. This time the couple was at the 4* show of Saint-Tropez. Kingston jumped absolutely amazing under Aldrick taking 10th place in a 1m50 class.  For the second leg of the STX cycle we had to go to Sentower Park in Opglabbeek. Our three four-year-old horses all jumped a beautiful clear round. Cuba Libre van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) with Frederik Dekens and Chance van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Cento) & Cheetah van Paemel Z (Cardento x Carthago Z) with Jelle Limbourg. Chiquita van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Darco) was the one who cleared all the fences with Jelle Limbourg in the class for five-year-old horses.

04-07-2020  First STX cycle

The first STX cycle took place at Stoeterij Mivaro in Dilbeek. Almost a home match for our horses. In the four-year-olds we had two clear rounds. Cuba Libre van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) with Frederik Dekens and Chance van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Cento) with Jelle Limbourg. The five-year-old Cocaïne van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) also jumped clear with Jelle Limbourg. In the class for six-year-old horses Balouto van Paemel Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Colman) delivered a nice double clear with Frederik Dekens. Jelle Limbourg jumped double clear with both Nikita van Paemel Z (Numero Uno x Randel Z) and Chanel van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Cento).

20-06-2020  Jump With Friends

Finally we had some action again after the lockdown. Our horses made their debut this weekend at Jump With Friends and were definitely happy being out again. In the class for six year old horses, we had three horses competing who all jumped a double clear. Our Zangerheide approved Balouto van Paemel Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Colman) finished on a 6th place with Frederik Dekens. Balouto was followed by our Coconut van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Sandro) and Jelle Limbourg on 7. For Nikita van Paemel Z (Numero Uno x Randel Z) there was a 9th place with Jelle. Our approved Cuba Libre van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) stayed clear in the class for 4 year old horses with Frederik Dekens. The five-year-old Chiquita van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Darco) jumped nicely clear with Jelle Limbourg.

30-03-2020  Balouto van Paemel Z

May I present to you... Balouto van Paemel Z The beautiful and elegant Baloubet du Rouet son. Balouto has the talent and the will to perform. As a five-year-old, he won the National cycle after nine clear rounds out of nine, after previously finishing second in the PAVO stallion competition. Genetically, he combines the top sires Baloubet du Rouet, Colman an Darco with the dam line of Cicero Z van Paemel, which is filled with horses that perform and have performed at 1m50-1m60 level. Balouto is daily available with fresh semen at Hengstenhouderij Dekens.

May I present to you... Cuba Libre van Paemel Z The appealing harmoniously built performance stallion. Cuba Libre jumps with ease, flexibility and power. He inherited these traits from his ancestors Cicero Z van Paemel, Calvaro Z and Quito de Baussy who where all successful at 1m60 level. This year Cuba Libre became ex aequo winner of the PAVO stallion competition 4 year olds. As a two-year-old he won the loose jumping competition in Ternat and finished on a third place in the Belgian Freejump Tour. Dear Sissi, today we had to say goodbye to you with a very heavy heart. For 28 years we have -hopefully- given you a beautiful life. Despite the fact that you weren't born at our stable, you had already conquered Luc's heart when you were barely 3 days old and he decided to buy you. A beautiful appearance, an empress... A lady with spunk, full of perseverance and sometimes a bit impatient, but with a golden character. Qualities that you have passed on to your offspring. Sissi, we will miss you incredibly hard. Sleep tight...

08-03-2020  Kingston 7th in GP Valencia

On the first day of the CSI3* Valencia Kingston van Paemel (Numero Uno x Randel Z) and Aldrick Cheronnet jumped to a 10th place in a 1m40 class. On Sunday Aldrick saddled Kingston for the Grand Prix. Kingston jumped a superb round, leaving all the 1m50 fences untouched. However, a time penalty kept them out of the jump-off, ending on a 7th place.

01-03-2020  Cuba Libre clear

Both Cuba Libre van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) and Balouto van Paemel Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Colman) jumped great with Frederik Dekens at the PAVO stallion competition at Stal Vincent Martens. The 4 year old Cuba Libre delivered another clear round. Balouto showed a nice round too with an unlucky fault on the last one in the jump-off.

21-03-2020  Second clear for Cuba Libre

Proud of how our two boys jumped at the third leg of the PAVO stallion competition at Flanders Horse Expo with Frederik Dekens. Cuba Libre van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) jumped a great clear round in the four year old stallions. Balouto van Paemel Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Colman) jumped great too, but had bad luck on the last fence. Better luck next time! Both daily available with fresh semen at Hengstenhouderij Dekens.

14-02-2020  Kingston placed in Valencia

This weekend Aldrick Cheronnet stayed in Valencia with our two stallions, Kingston van Paemel (Numero Uno x Randel Z) and Mambo van Paemel (Ugano Sitte x Darco). Mambo jumped two days clear in 1m30 classes. Kingston began with a 10th place in the 1m40 class and he topped that performance the next day. Kingston and Aldrick took 9th place in the 1m45 Longines Ranking class.

09-02-2020  Kingston 3rd Grand Prix Valencia

What a way to finish the weekend! Our ten year old Kingston van Paemel (Numero Uno x Randel Z) ended his first show of the year with a bang! After starting the CES Valencia Tour with a nice and easy round in a 1m40 class, Aldrick Cheronnet entered him in the Grand Prix on Sunday. Kingston was in the mood and cleared the 1m50 course with ease, placing him for the jump-off. In a jump-off with 12 competitors, Kingston and Aldrick stayed clean once again, finishing on a great 3rd place!

02-02-2020  Balouto 4th stallion competition Lier

The second leg of the PAVO stallion competition at Azelhof was a good one for our boys! The AES approved Cuba Libre van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Calvaro Z) started the day with a nice clear round with Frederik Dekens in the class for four year old stallions. For the six year old stallions the course is followed directly with a jump-off. Our Balouto van Paemel Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Colman) & Frederik Dekens were the first to jump double clear, resulting in a nice 4th place.

11-01-2020  Balouto clear in STX Youngster Cup

Our Zangersheide approved Balouto van Paemel Z (Baloubet du Rouet x Colman) started the year on a good note. With Frederik Dekens he jumped a clear round in the STX Youngster Cup for six-year-old horses at Azelhof.
