20-12-2015  Cicero offspring keeps doing great in the sport and auction!

Grand Cru van Paemel (Cicero Z x Silvio I) gained a great 2nd place with Jake Saywell in the 1m45U25 Grand Prix of Lichtenvoorde at Jumping de Achterhoek. In Roosendaal there was a 7th place in the Grand Prix for Gigolo (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer van Koekshof) and Albert Zoer. Goran Imperio Egipcio (Cicero Z x Littorio) was placed 10th in a 1m45 class at La Coruña. This week they were victorious in a 1m40 class at CSI Alfeizerao.   Gellah III (Cicero Z x Epsom Gesmeray) jumped to a 4th place with her new rider Yves Vanderhasselt in a 1m45 class at Lier. Cicero Barelière Z (Cicero Z x Concorde) became 9th in a 1m30 class.  During CSI-W Madrid Cicero II (Cicero Z x Guidam) jumped a clear 1m45 round under Harrie Smolders. Dolitaire Chavannaise (Cicero Z x Voltaire) managed to win the final for five and six year old horses in Opglabbeek under Lorenzo de Luca. This after being double clear the two days before. In the 1m30 classes there was a 7th place for Jacardi S (Cicero Z x Chamberlain) and Ruben Lamers and an 8th place for Cerise des Brumes (Cicero Z x Nonstop) under the saddle of Catherine Van Roosbroeck. In Neeroeteren It's Me (Cicero Z x Poor Boy) gained a 3rd place in a 1m35 class under Jelmer Hoekstra. With Isaura VG (Cicero Z x Heartbreaker) Marcel Marschall jumped to a 3rd place in a 1m25 class during CSI Kreuth. Hans-Dieter Dreher jumped a nice clear round with his new ride Douglass Chavannais (Cicero Z x Ogano Sitte) in a 1m30 class in Salzburg. At the Christmas edition of the Horse Auction Belgium Cisco von Rotheck Z (Cicero Z x Flamenco de Semilly) was the most expensive foal. The full brother of Laura Kraut's Chuckles and Chloe Aston's Merqusio was auctioned for an amount of 16,000 euro to no one less than Chloe Aston herself! This way the beautiful colt will get every chance of success.

22-11-2015  Once again a victory for Gigolo and Retro III

Not a month passes without a victory for Gigolo (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer van Koekshof) and Albert Zoer. This time the nine year old grey became first in the 1m45 qualifier for the grand prix at Strazeele. Harrie Smolders now also has a Cicero descendant in his stables. With Cicero II (Cicero Z x Guidam) he immediately gained a 10th place in a 1m45 class at CSI-W Stuttgart. Also during the last week of the MET Tour in Oliva there was success. In the concluding 1m45 Grand Prix there was a 5th place for the impressive Merqusio (Cicero Z x Flamenco de Semilly) under Chloe Aston. Retro III (Cicero Z x For Pleasure) was once again victorious with Jamie Wingrove in the six year old horses. Casual Z (Cicero Z x Andiamo Z) and Ferenc Szentirmai followed on the 7th place . Divaro Maeza (Cicero Z x Persan II) became 9th in a 1m35 class and 10th in a 1m30. With Ricardo Jurado he than became 3rd in a 1m35 class at the CSN 5* Aniversario CES Valencia. Gellah III (Cicero Z x Epsom Gesmeray) gained a 10th place with Yves Vanderhasselt in a 1m50 class at Luik. In Opglabbeek Cerise des Brumes (Cicero Z x Nonstop) became 7th in a 1m35 class under Catherine Van Roosbroeck. The day after they jumped double clear in a 1m40 class.  Gardith (Cicero Z x Codexco) ended 4th in a 1m35 with Bjorn Egberink. In Mijas Frederico van Paemel (Cicero Z x Graf Grannus) and Truelsen were 7th in a 1m30 class.

05-11-2015  Cicero 83rd at the WBFSH Sire Ranking!

We are so proud of our Cicero Z van Paemel! At the age of fifteen the apple of our eye enters the WBFSH Sire Ranking on place 83! A marvellous crowning of a great year thanks to the excellent performances of his offspring such as Gigolo, Gautcho da Quinta, Fenia van Klapscheut, Merqusio,... A great achievement of Cicero, since he was approved for BWP at the age of five. Therefore most of his offspring are 9 year or younger.

02-11-2015  Victory for Gigolo, Galisco, Merqusio and Retro III

After Gigolo (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer van Koekshof) debuted at Jumping Indoor Maastricht on Grand Prix level last year which immediately resulted in a 3rd place in the GP, he now was again present. A turn that seemed impossible, was made without hesitation by Gigolo and Zoer in the 1m50 qualifier for the grand prix. Like that the eager gelding jumped to a fantastic victory under the saddle of Albert Zoer. At the other side of te world Galisco van Paemel (Cicero Z x Feinschnitt I vd Richter) jumped in the spotlights. With Alessandra Battilana he won the 1m55 Grand Prix of Zangersheide Argentina. The approved stallion keeps performing well in Latin America. In Porto Alegre there was an 8th place for Guldenboom Rembrandt (Cicero Z x Hors la Loi II) and Tiago Mesquita in a 1m45 class. Chicago (Cicero Z x Heartbreaker) became 10th with Tracey Epp in the 1m40-1m60 World Cup of CSI Calgary. The Mediterranean Equestrian Tour has started in the Spanish Oliva. Merqusio (Cicero Z x Flamenco de Semilly) managed to win a 1m45 ranking class with Chloe Aston. A remarkable six year old was Retro III. This Cicero Z x For Pleasure son qualified in every class he jumped with Jamie Wingrove. This way he won the GP for six year olds, day after another victory. Besides that Retro was twice joint first, 3rd and 8th. Casual Z (Cicero Z x Andiamo Z) gained a 5th place in the same GP with Ferenc Szentirmai. In Opglabbeek Cerise des Brumes (Cicero Z x Nonstop) became 2nd in the final for seven year old horses under Catherine Van Roosbroeck, after being double clear earlier. VDS Indianapolis (Cicero Z x Nagano) was victorious in a 1m20 class with Mario Vermeire.

19-10-2015  Fenia wins GP Leszno

At the Polish Leszno Fenia van Klapscheut (Cicero Z x Ahorn Z) kept her good shape with Marcel Marschall. The combination wrote the Grand Prix on their name after a faultless and fast jump-off! Calero Z (Cicero Z x Sandro) became twice 10th with Aleksandra Kozanecka in a 1m25 and a 1m30 class. The last week of the Vilamoura Equestrian Tour Bertram Allen saddled Izzy by Picobello(Cicero Z x Capriano). Together they gained a 2nd and a 4th place in the classes for seven year olds. Ferenc Szentirmai jumped clear with the six year old Casual Z (Cicero Z x Andiamo Z) and with the five year old Kashmire (Cicero Z x Lancelot). Goran van den Ossezak(Cicero Z x Littorio) was also in good form with Luis Sabino Gonçalves. They became 8th in a 1m45 class and also 4th in a 1m40. Chloe Aston jumped a superb clear round with Merqusio (Cicero Z x Flamenco de Semilly) in a 1m45 class. At Cagnes-sur-Mer Gitania VG (Cicero Z x Chellano Z) and Nadège Janssen became 6th in a 1m35 class. Costa Rica vh Waterschoot Z (Cicero Z x Parco) jumped twice clear in a 1m30 and 1m35 class under Julia Dalamano at Chevenez. In Lier Intermezzo (Cicero Z x Skippy II) was 4th in a 1m20 class with Mike Hosewol. At the GPA Jump Festival Candide Flabémont Z (Cicero Z x Veneur du Prelet) & Emanuele Massimiliano Bianchi and Jericho St. Hubertushoeve (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer van Koekshof) & Alice Sara Pasquino were joint first in the class for six and seven year old horses.

12-10-2015  Vilamoura Equestrian Tour

The second week of the Vilamoura Equestrian Tour was also succesfull. In the seven year olds It's Me (Cicero Z x Poor Boy) became 6th with Jelmer Hoekstra, followed by Izzy by Picobello (Cicero Z x Capriano) and Jack Dodd at place 8th. Chuckles (Cicero Z x Flamenco de Semilly) was also double clear under Laura Kraut. the final there was a 3rd place for Izzy and a 4th place for Chuckles. With Cicero's Electric (Cicero Z x Mistral) Kraut jumped faultless in the six year olds. For Kashmire and Ferenc Szentirmai there were three clear rounds in the five year olds. In the 1m45 Grand Prix of Vilamoura Goran van den Ossezak (Cicero Z x Littorio) gained a 5th place under Luis Sabino Gonçalves. Chloe Aston followed on place 9th with Merqusio (Cicero Z x Flamenco de Semilly). In a 1m30 class Aragorn 94 (Cicero Z x Fatal Z) and Maria Do Rosario Libano Monteiro became 10th. Gigolo also did well with Albert Zoer. During CSI Kiel they jumped to a 5th place in a 1m50 class. Havinia van de Roshoeve (Cicero Z x Lacantus) became 9th in a 1m40 class under Jake Saywell at the Horse of the Year Show in Birmingham. At a national show in Nîmes Costières Ciska van Paemel Z (Cicero Z x Campus) won a 1m35 class under the saddle of Aldrick Cheronnet. The duo became also 8th in a 1m40 class.

05-10-2015  Several placings for young horses and in Grand Prixs

At Vilamoura the three weeks during Equestrian Tour started. In the classes for young horses several Cicero descendants did well.  In the seven year olds Izzy by Picobello (Cicero Z x Capriano) jumped three days clear under Bertram Allen and Jack Dodd with a 3rd place in the final.  With Chuckles (ex Inshallah von Rocherath) (Cicero Z x Flamenco de Semilly) Laura Kraut was placed 7th. It's Me (Cicero Z x Poor Boy) & Jelmer Hoekstra were also double clear. Laura Kraut had also success in the six year olds with Cicero's Electric (Cicero Z x Mistral). After jumping clear the first day, they gained a 5th and 6th place. For Casual Z (Cicero Z x Andiamo Z) there was a faultless round with Ferenc Szentirmai. In the five year olds Szentirmai jumped three days clear with Kashmire (Cicero Z x Lancelot), which led to an 8th place. Kappa Play (Cicero Z x Peking Opera xx) jumped three days clear too with Chloe Aston. Besides the young horses there was also a three stars competition at the Vilamoura Equestrian Center. Goran van den Ossezak (Cicero Z x Littorio) became 3rd in a 1m40 class with Luis Sabino Gonçalves. For Ginnis van 't Geyzeven (Cicero Z x Heureka de la Loge) there was a 4th place in a 1m35 class under Vitor Alves Teixeira. At Pöttmes Marcel Marschall was in good shape with his two Cicero descendants. There was a 3rd place in the 1m45 Grand Prix with Fenia van Klapscheut (Cicero Z x Ahorn Z) and with Isaura VG (Cicero Z x Heartbreaker) he won the final for six and seven year old horses, after being double clear earlier. Gigolo (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer van Koekshof) gained a 5th place with Albert Zoer in the 1m45 Grand Prix of CSI Salland. At Opglabbeek Icos (Cicero Z x Contender) became 3rd under Olivier Philippaerts in the seven year old horses, after jumping the first day double clear too. At Strazeele Cyrano d'Orbri (Cicero Z x Fabiolo xx) was placed 10th in the 1m45 Grand Prix under José Thiry. Lieven Devos became 3rd and 10th in 1m30 classes and 10th in a 1m35 class with Caredo C (Cicero Z x Obsession B). Vitalia d'Ash (Cicero Z x Ou Vas Tu III) was 9th in a 1m25 under Guillaume Foutrier. Galand van het Venushof(Cicero Z x Pachat II) and Marietta Robitza gained a 3rd place in a 1m35 class and a 9th place in a 1m25 at Wiener Neustadt. In Barbizon Jessi d'Haverlande (Cicero Z x Grandeur) was 9th in the six year old horses with Olivier Perreau. In a 1m30 class there was a 7th place for Chilhac de Macheco (Cicero Z x Darco) and Marie Pailloux.

29-09-2015  Cicero delivers one auction topper after the other

Where trade is concerned, the offspring of Cicero Z van Paemel is doing well. At Bonheiden the fourth edition of the Woodland's International Sales took place on Saturday. Their collection included no less than three Cicero descendants. The six year old Julyssi van Orti (Cicero Z x Vigo d'Arsouilles) was auctioned for an amount of €165,000 to Pieter Devos. Like this the top mare, who possesses a lot of power and the typical Cicero back end, became the auction topper of the evening. Moreover she is the most expensive Woodland's Horse of all time. For the stallion Jacardi S (Cicero Z x Chamberlain) €68,000 was paid. Thursday before the fifteenth edition of the Limburgse Veulenveiling, which traditionally belongs to the top three best scoring foal auctions of the Netherlands, was held. For the price of €38.000 the playful Klacid of Cicero (Cicero Z x Indoctro) became the absolute auction topper. Moreover he is the most expensive foal ever sold at this auction. The beautiful grey filly Charm du Buisson Z (Cicero Z x Mr. Blue) changed of owner for €15,000. At Samorin Fenia van Klapscheut (Cicero Z x Ahorn Z) was placed 8th in a 1m45-1m50 class under the German rider Marcel Marschall. Cerise des Brumes (Cicero Z x Nonstop) was in shape during the same competition. With Catherine Van Roosbroeck the mare jumped in the Bronze tour, meaning 1m35 classes. On the first day they became 7th and 3rd the day after. Goran van den Ossezak (Cicero Z x Littorio) gained a 4th place in a 1m40 class at Vilamoura under Luis Sabino Gonçalves.

21-09-2015  Kingston Z approved for life

Our Kingston van Paemel had to jump his final test for the stallion jury of Studbook Zangersheide during the world championships for young horses last weekend. The Numero Uno son out of the Randel Z mare Rendez-Vous van Paemel was already approved as a three year old for Zangersheide. For his permanent approval he had to take his test as a five year old. The five year old stallion showed his power and jumped a great round with a flying back end under Filip Lacus. For this he was rewarded with a permanent licence. At the world championship the Cicero offspring was unlucky. In the qualifiers most of them got an unlucky fault, just like our Jaguar van Paemel (Cicero Z x Sandro). The impressive grey jumped a nice clear round in the consolation for six year old horses. For FTS Elliot (Cicero Z x Lancelot) there was a great 8th place in the final, after jumped two clear qualifiers under the Irishman Neal Fearon. The five year old Kirr Royal van Paemel (Cicero Z x Sandro) jumped clear with Bernardo Mathias, but a time penalty kept them out of the final. In the seven year old horses Icos (Cicero Z x Contender) jumped twice nicely clear and went to the final with Olivier Philippaerts. Cerise des Brumes (Cicero Z x Nonstop) was unlucky on the first day with a fence down in the triple. In the second qualifier she was nicely 9th and in the consolation there was an 8th place for her and Catherine Van Roosbroeck. At Donaueschingen Fenia van Klapscheut (Cicero Z x Ahorn) gained a 4th place under Marcel Marschall in a 1m50 class. Cesar Franck (Cicero Z x Voltaire) was at Jardy with Celine Bradt, where the combination was 5th and 10th in 1m30 classes. Galand van het Venushof (Cicero Z x Pachat II) and Marietta Robitza became 7th in a 1m30 class and 10th in a 1m25 during CSI Vienna. The approved stallion Galisco van Paemel (Cicero Z x Feinschnitt I vd Richter) was sold last year to Chile. There he keeps performing well with his new owners. This year Galisco already became 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th with Rodrigo Carrasco and 3rd and 7th with his partner Alexandra Battilana in several Grand Prixs from 1m45 till 1m60. Goran van den Ossezak (Cicero Z x Littorio) was in good shape at Barcelos. He became 2nd in the Grand Prix, won a 1m40 class and was 3rd in another 1m40 under the saddle of Luis Sabino Gonçalves. At a national competition in Vimeiro some time before Goran won a 1m40 class and was 7th in the 1m45 Grand Prix. In Hickstead Havinia vd Roshoeve (Cicero Z x Lacantus) gained a 4th place in a 1m40 class with Jake Saywell. Henrik (Cicero Z x Graaf Grande) was 6th with Mario Deslauriers in a 1m35 clas during the American Gold Cup at North Salen. Gotti van Paemel (Cicero Z x Calido I) was placed 9th with David Simpson in a 1m40 class at Neeroeteren Cicera de la Vayrie B (Cicero Z x April Night xx) became 4th under Tobias Bachl in the young horses, after jumping the first day clear too at CSI Ising am Chimsee. Jessi d'Haverlande (Cicero Z x Grandeur) jumped three days clear and became 4th in the final for six year old horses with Olivier Perreau at CSI Chazey. Click here for the video of Jaguar. 08-09-2015  Moneymaker with €195.000 absolute auction topper at Fences

In France the famous Fences auction took place last week at Bois-le-Roi. On Saturday evening the three year old  Moneymaker van de Axelhoeve, who won the qualifier for the loose jumping contest in Mechelen, set the place on fire. The promising Cicero Z van Paemel son by the Cumano daughter Cacharel Z jumped amazing and managed to impress several bidders.  After a battle between Italy and France, it was eventually Haras des Coudrettes (HDC), sponsor of Staut and Delaveau, who got the best of it. They bought Moneymaker for an amount of no less than 195,000 euro. This way he became the absolute auction topper! What's in a name... At Wolvertem on the property of Stephan Conter the Stephex Masters took place. In the CSI 1* our Jaguar van Paemel drew attention under the saddle of Dirk Demeersman. The beautiful Cicero Z x Sandro son qualified two days in the 1m25 classes. The first day the combination became 6th by jumping double clear. 01-09-2015  Gautcho 4th in 1m60 Grand Prix Gijon!

Gautcho da Quinta (Cicero Z x Upsilon vd Heffinck) was allowed to travel to Spain with Catherine Van Roosbroeck for the CSIO Gijon. The mighty, with a lot of power jumping Gautcho was the first to stay faultless in the 1m60 Grand Prix of the five stars competition. Eventually 16 combinations managed to qualify for the jump-off. Gautcho and Catherine were second to go and were once again nice clear! The combination ended on a great 4th place. Again a great performance for Gautcho after jumping double clear in the 1m60 grand prix qualifier, ending 7th! For Cerise des Brumes (Cicero Z x Nonstop) there were the classes for young horses. She stayed thrice clear and jumped to a 6th place and 7th place in the final. Divaro Maeza (Cicero Z x Persan II) and Ricardo Jurado were also clear. They became 5th in the final. At the Glock's Performance Center in Treffen the new stable rider of Bertram Allen, Jack Dodd, was present with Izzy by Picobello (Cicero Z x Capriano).  The combination gained a 2nd and a 10th place in 1m40 classes. The first day they also became 8th in a 1m35 class. Hot Topic (Cicero Z x Hattrick) did excellent at the Angelstone Tournaments in Rockwood. With Nina Fagerström she won a 1m40 class and was 3rd in another 1m40 and 1m35 class. For Chuckles (Cicero Z x Flamenco de Semilly) and Laura Kraut there was a clear round in the young horses class at Verbier. In Zandhoven Gina (Cicero Z x Nagano) did well with Dries Goossens. They became 8th in a 1m40 class, after they became 5th earlier in a 1m35 class. For Hospita van de Rostal (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer van Koekshof) there was a 6th place in the 1m45-50 class under Nick Vrins. Casaleo Z (Cicero Z x Nelson Z) and Eline Peeters jumped twice clear in 1m25 classes, just like Jungle Boy (Cicero Z x Obsession B) and Francois Brichart. At Auvers the Frenchman Max Thirouin was successful. With Balisto du Maillet (Cicero Z x Corland) he became 2nd and 3rd in 1m30 classes, while he was 2nd in the six year olds with Jewel de Kwakenbeek (Cicero Z x Quidam de Revel), after jumping faultless before. In the final Jiggly (Cicero Z x Wiensender) gained a 6th place with Benjamin Robert, after a joint first place. Himalaya van Paemel (Cicero Z x Skippy II) was 9th in a 1m30 class and 8th in a 1m25 with Geoffrey Cobbaut.

18-08-2015  Mighty Merqusio and Grand Cru in team GB at EC YR

The Lake Arena in Wiener Neustadt was the scene for the European Championship for Young Riders. In team Great Britain there were no less than two descendants of Cicero Z van Paemel. Chloe Aston was selected with the mighty jumping Merqusio (Cicero Z x Flamenco de Semilly) and Jake Saywell with Grand Cru van Paemel (Cicero Z x Silvio I). Both of them jumped nicely clear in the first individual leg. The day after in the first round of the Nations Cup they noted a great faultless 1m50 round. The only eight year old Merqusio got an unlucky fault in the second round, but Grand Cru stayed once again clear. They both managed to qualify for the individual final, in which the tiredness took its toll.  A really great performance of these two young horses who were part of thirty of the best horses! At Valkenswaard there were also a couple of Cicero's. Gina (Cicero Z x Nagano) became 8th in a 1m40 class under Dries Goossens, after jumping double clear in a 1m40 class before. Izerro (Cicero Z x Olisco) was 8th in a 1m35 class with Karel Cox. At the young horses there was a clear round for Jericho St Hubertushoeve (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer v Koekshof) and Alice Sara Pasquino. Fenia van Klapscheut (Cicero Z x Ahorn) and Marcel Marschall gained a 9th place in the Grand Prix of San Giovanni at the Horses Riviera Resort. Icarus VW (Cicero Z x Clinton) was also in shape with Catherine Offner. They became twice 6th and twice 7th in 1m35 classes for seven year old horses. Caillou de la Pierre Z (Cicero Z x Lansing) jumped to a joint first place and a 10th place in the five year olds. At Bonheiden the seven year olds were also successful. Cerise des Brumes (Cicero Z x Nonstop) gained a 3rd place under Catherine Van Roosbroeck, followed by Izzy by Picobello (Cicero Z x Capriano) and Jack Todd on a 5th place. In the youngster tour in Roosendaal Candyman (Cicero Z x Balougran Z) was 7th with Peter Bulthuis. Gicero van het Lemmenshof (Cicero Z x Sun Light vd Zuuthoeve) was placed 8th in a 1m45 class with Georgia Founta at CSI Bojourishte. Hira (Cicero Z x Ircolando) was twice 2nd and once 5th in 1m30 classes under the saddle of Emily Short during CSI Millstreet.

10-08-2015  Jaguar 2nd in final Beervelde

At Beervelde the 10th edition of the Flanders Horse Event took place this year. Ambassador Dirk Demeersman was also present with our Jaguar van Paemel. He participated in the classes for six year old horses with our Z approved stallion. The first day the last fence fell in the jump-off, but the second day there was a joint first place thank to a great clear round. In the final Jaguar jumped a fantastic round, which he repeated in the jump-off. They ended on a great second place! Also six year old Eristov (Cicero Z x Concorde) became 8th the first day and jumped again clear the day after. For Cerise des Brumes (Cicero Z x Nonstop) there was a 7th place in the final for seven year olds, after jumping every day clear with Catherine Van Roosbroeck. Gellah III (Cicero Z x Epsom Gesmeray) gained a 10th place with Christophe Vanderhasselt in a 1m40 class. Gitania VG (Cicero Z x Chellano Z) became 6th in a 1m20 class under Nadège Janssen. Gigolo (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer v Koekshof) almost won another grand prix. With Albert Zoer he participated in the 1m55 Grand Prix of CSI Ommen, which he jumped nicely clear. As the final starter in the jump-off Zoer went for it. The fastest time, but a fault on the last fence brought them on a 7th place. In the Puissance a Cicero descendant did well again.  Gitte vd Molendrieshoeve (Cicero Z x Nagano) became joint second under Matthew Sampson. Tinkerbell W (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer v Koekshof) and Guy Williams were 3rd in a 1m20 class. For Cicero's Isaura (Cicero Z x Lacantus) there was a 5th place in a 1m25 and a 4th in a 1m20 class under Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida.  Fenia van Klapscheut (Cicero Z x Ahorn Z) gained a great 2nd place under the saddle of Marcel Marschall in a 1m45 class at San Giovanni. Grand Cru van Paemel (Cicero Z x Silvio I) participated in London under Jake Saywell. The combination gained a 5th place in a 1m40-45 class. At Donaueschingen Fenia van Klapscheut (Cicero Z x Ahorn Z) jumped nicely clear in a 1m45 competition, in which she ended 6th under the saddle of Marcel Marschall. Iris (Cicero Z x Carthago Z) became 5th in a 1m40 class with her rider Carron Nicol during the Baltica Equestrian Tour. At Lier Galentino (Cicero Z x Type d'Elle) won a 1m15 class under Charlotte Fokker. At Fontainebleau Balisto du Maillet (Cicero Z x Corland) was 3rd in a 1m35 class with Max Thirouin. With Jewel de Kwakenbeek (Cicero Z x Quidam de Revel)he jumped to a 2nd place in the qualifier and a 4th place in the grand prix for six year old horses. Betty Boop (Cicero Z x Vainqueur de Cheux) was clearly in shape with Jeremy Le Roi. The combination gained a 3rd place in a 1m35 class, a 10th in the 1m30 Speed Derby and a 9th place in a 1m20 class. Chilhac de Macheco (Cicero Z x Darco) was 10th under Marie Pailloux in a 1m30 class. In Zuidwolde Cicero's Isaura (Cicero Z x Lacantus) jumped to a 5th place in a 1m25 class under Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida. Excellent (Cicero Z x Ahorn) was placed 8th in a 1m20 class with Pim Mulder. During CSI Hasselt Hascos vd Wijngaardhoeve (Cicero Z x Chellano Z) was 6th in a 1m35 class under Stefan Corten. Casaleo Z (Cicero Z x Nelson Z) became 10th in the final for six year old horses with Eline Peeters. For Cesar Franck (Cicero Z x Voltaire) and Celine Bradt there was a 2nd place in a 1m20 class and a 6th place in the 1m20 final.

Gigolo (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer v Koekshof) was now placed 10th in a 1m55 class under the saddle of Albert Zoer during CSIO 2015 Mannheim. At Opglabbeek Jake Saywell did well with his two Cicero's. He became 4th in the Grand Prix with Grand Cru van Paemel (Cicero Z x Silvio I) and 10th with Havinia vd Roshoeve (Cicero Z x Lacantus). Earlier he won a 1m40 class with Havinia and was placed 8th with Grand Cru in a 1m40. On the grass of Spruce Meadows  Hamlet (Cicero Z x Heartbreaker) was victorious in a 1m40 class under the saddle of Lucy Deslauriers. In another 1m40 class they became 10th. Father Mario Deslauriers won a 1m30 class with Durango VDM (Cicero Z x Karandasj), after a 3rd place earlier. At Vichy Douglass Chavannais (Cicero Z x Ogano Sitte) was joint first in the class for six year old horses under Adelaide Lautie. I Circa d'Or (Cicero Z x Pluriel) and Marie Kundycki were 8th in the final for seven year old horses, after an 8th place before at CSI Zuidwolde. During CSI Koningsbosch Izerro (Cicero Z x Olisco) gained a 7th place in the 1m30 Grand Prix under Marit H. Skollerud. Gardith (Cicero Z x Codexco) was 10th in a 1m40 class with Jens Nijs. For Hira (Cicero Z x Ircolando) and Emily Short there was a 10th place in a 1m20 class. Cicero offspring does also well at national competitions in the Netherlands. Connection (Cicero Z x Clinton) won the ZZ speedclass with Hans de Vries at a height of 1m35 and became 2nd after a clear jump-off in another ZZ class at CH Dokkum. At Jumping Etten-Leur Emmerson (Cicero Z x Cash) was in the winning mood under Thom de Koff. The combination won a 1m20 class and the final of class M. Eristov (Cicero Z x Concorde) was also in good form. Under Rob de Bruijn he became 4th in the championship of Etten Leur, 6th in the six year old horses and 10th in a 1m20 class. The Cicero daughter Evita Bella was 4th in class Z with Jordy Duijndam at Jumping Maassluis.

06-07-2015 Hattrick for Cicero offspring!

What a weekend! No less than 3 of our Cicero Z van Paemel's offspring managed to win a Grand Prix in Europe. The ever performing Gigolo (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer van Koekshof) was victorious in Arnhem. Only three combinations qualified for the jump-off. Thanks to the fastest time, the combination wrote the 1m55 Grand Prix of Outdoor Gelderland on their palmares. The day before they also gained a 7th place in the 1m50 class. In the Austrian Wiener Neustadt it was Merqusio(Cicero Z x Flamenco de Semilly), former Helios von Rocherath, who finished the quickest of the eleven jump-off combinations. With the British Chloe Aston the mighty jumping grey triumphed in the 1m45 Grand Prix. Cicero II(Cicero Z x Guidam), former Chapeau, scored the hattrick with the third victory of the day in the saddle of Tina Lund. At the Danish Baekgaarden Horse Festival the scopey sorrel won the 1m50 Grand Prix. Also in the other classes, the Cicero offspring did well. Gautcho da Quinta (Cicero Z x Upsilon vd Heffinck) and Catherine Van Roosbroeck became nicely 4th and 5th in 1m45 classes during CSI Mons. It's Me(Cicero Z x Poor Boy), former IBN Dancer van Oz, jumped to a 3rd and 9th place in 1m30 classes under Sanne Thijssen at Outdoor Gelderland. Handsome (Cicero Z x Major de la Cour) & Federico Ciriesi became 8th in the 1m25 final in Wiener Neustadt.

01-07-2015  Cyrano good in Canteleu, Gotti in Derby

Cyrano d'Orbri (Cicero Z x Fabiolo xx) was present at Canteleu with José Thiry. The combination gained a 6th place in a 1m45 class on the first day. In the Puissance they became 3rd. It's Me (Cicero Z x Poor Boy) was placed 4th in the 1m40 final for young horses under the saddle of  Sanne Thijssen. For Chilhac de Macheco (Cicero Z x Darco) there was a 10th place in a 1m15 class with Marie Pailloux.   CSI Hickstead was all about derby's. Gotti van Paemel (Cicero Z x Calido I) started in the 1m60 Derby Trial under the saddle of David Simpson. With only a time penalty they became nicely 8th. At Geesteren Emmerson (Cicero Z x Cash) was placed 3rd in a 1m25 class under Thom De Koff. With Cicero's Isaura (Cicero Z x Lacantus) Rodrigo Giesteira Almeide became 6th in a 1m20 class. At Spruce Meadows they also keep performing. Hamlet van de Lindehoeve (Cicero Z x Heartbreaker) gained a couple of placings with Lucy Deslauriers. They were 2nd and 9th in 1m40 classes, won the 1m30  "Prix de Nations" with two clear rounds and were 3rd in another 1m30 class. Durango VDM (Cicero Z x Karandasj) became 4th in a 1m30 class under Mario Deslauriers, in which Hero vd Roshoeve (Cicero Z x Porche de Bornival) and Kara Chad were placed 10th. Hallo-Croket van Puyenbroeck (Cicero Z x Darco) and Jenna-Jasmin Pehkonen became 2nd in a 1m30 class at a national showjumping competition in Finland.

23-06-2015  Gotti wins Puissance

At CSI Bolesworth the Cicero offspring attracted attention. Gotti van Paemel (Cicero Z x Calido I) claimed joint first place in the Puissance. Under David Simpson he jumped five rounds clear, whereby the wall was reaching a height of 2m10. Jake Saywell was also successful with his two Cicero descendants. With Grand Cru van Paemel (Cicero Z x Silvio I) he gained a 7th place in the 1m45 Grand Prix, after jumping earlier a clear 1m45 round. For Havinia vd Roshoeve (Cicero Z x Lacantus) there was an 8th place in a 1m25 and a 10th place in a 1m20. In the final for six year old horses Jordanta vd Eyckenhoeve (Cicero Z x Alcanar xx) was victorious with Claire Shepherd. Gala D (Cicero Z x Cascadeur) gained a 7th place under Andreas Kreuzer in a 1m45 class in Pforzheim. During this Goldstadt Cup Himalaya van Paemel (Cicero Z x Skippy II) was also placed 2nd in the youngster tour with Geoffrey Cobbaut. At Bonheiden Gellah III (Cicero Z x Epsom Gesmeray) jumped to an 8th place in a 1m35 class under Christophe Vanderhasselt. In the five year old horses Kavalia vh Heidehof (Cicero Z x Darco) was joint first with Pascale Haep. Icos (Cicero Z x Contender) and Olivier Philippaerts had the same result in the seven year old horses. In the Italian Gorla Minore Douglass Chavannais (Cicero Z x Ogano Sitte) gained an 8th place in the final for six year old horses under Adelaide Lautie. The six year old Casual Z (Cicero Z x Andiamo Z) and Ferenc Szentirmai were 9th the day before. Gigolo(Cicero Z x Quickfeuer v Koekshof) and Albert Zoer landed just outside the top ten after a clear round in a 1m55 class at CHIO Rotterdam. For Gautcho da Quinta (Cicero Z x Upsilon vd Heffinck) there was also a clear round and an 11th place with Catherine Van Roosbroeck in a 1m50. There was also national success. Cesar Franck (Cicero Z x Voltaire) won the 1m25 HROV Grand Prix at Hof Ter Couter in Vosselare with Celine Bradt. Carla Z (Cicero Z x Parco) on her turn won a couple of classes with Cassy Depresseux. They won a 1m20 class at the Gold League in Neeroeteren and a 1m25 and 1m20 class in Libramont.

16-06-2015  Cicero II 3rd in Danish Championship, Ginnis wins in Roeser

In Denmark the Danish Championship for Seniors took place. Tina Lund participated with the eight year old Cicero II (ex Chapeau) (Cicero Z x Guidam) in the 1m50 classes.  The combination eventually gained bronze after a jump-off for the third place. A very good achievement! In the Luxembourg Roeser Ginnis van 't Geyzeven (Cicero Z x Heureka de la Loge) was victorious in a 1m40 class under the saddle of Lorenzo de Luca. Albert Zoer gained a 2nd place with his top horse Gigolo (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer v Koekshof) in a 1m45 class. On the grass of Spruce Meadows Hamlet van de Lindehoeve (Cicero Z x Heartbreaker) became 2nd under Lucy Deslauriers in a 1m40 class. In Brazil Guldenboom Rembrandt (Cicero Z x Hors la Loi II) attracted attention under  Tiago Mesquita. They became 3rd in a 1m50 class and were 6th in a 1m45 class during CSI Curitiba. For Dundee van het Marienshof (Cicero Z x Libero H) and Roberto Arioldi there was a 2nd place in the final for seven year old horses, after a 2nd place the day before at Gorla Minore. At Lier Ino Dancer van Oz (Cicero Z x Uno de Laubry) became twice 7th under Nicole Walker in 1m20 classes. Jamaica van Paemel (Cicero Z x Darco) was 8th with Christophe Verhulsel in a 1m20. Camiel (Cicero Z x Nimmerdor) jumped at Vittel to a 9th place in a 1m25 class under the saddle of Baptiste Trigan. At the Arena UK in Great-Britain Gotti van Paemel (Cicero Z x Calido I) was placed 6th and 9th in 1m45 classes with David Simpson. Grand Cru van Paemel (Cicero Z x Silvio I) also became 6th in a 1m45 class under Jake Saywell. Nick Skelton saddled Cicero's Electric (Cicero Z x Mistral) for the grand prix for six year old horses, in which they became 5th. Havinia van de Roshoeve (Cicero Z x Lacantus) won a national 1m30 class with Jake Saywell.

09-06-2015  International placings

The nine year old Gautcho da Quinta (Cicero Z x Upsilon vd Heffinck) was selected for the Belgian team to go to CSIO Sopot. It was his second Nations Cup under the saddle of Catherine Van Roosbroeck. Gautcho jumped twice fantasticly, but got each time a bad luck fault. They helped Belgium to a third place in the Nations Cup. At CSI Reims Tinkerbell W (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer van Koekshof) and Guy Williams gained a 2nd place in a 1m25 class and a 6th place in a 1m35. For Cornus (Cicero Z x Sable Rose) and Fabien Acide there was a 10th place in a 1m25 class. In the 1m15 class Jackpot (Cicero Z x Phillip S) became 7th under Nicolas Billebaut. Iris (Cicero Z x Carthago Z) jumped with Carron Nicol at the Baltica Equestrian Tour. The combination was 5th in a 1m40 class and 3rd in a 1m35. Excellent (Cicero Z x Ahorn Z) gained an 8th place under the saddle of Pim Mulder in a 1m30 class in Wierden. At Sentower Park in Opglabbeek the Cicero descendants did also well. Gardith (Cicero Z x Codexco) & Jens Nijs as well as Merqusio (Cicero Z x Flamenco de Semilly) & Chloe Aston were placed 8th in 1m40 classes. In the seven year old horses Dubai (Cicero Z x Lux) became 4th under Brecht Goossens. Gloria (Cicero Z x Silvio) jumped to a 4th and 10th place in the classes for five and six year olds with Hilary Hinde. Elsewhere, there was also success for the young horses. Eristov (Cicero Z x Concorde) did well in Roosendaal with Rob De Bruyn. In the final for six year old horses they gained a 5th place, after being 7th the day before. Jiggly (Cicero Z x Wiensender) became 2nd in the final for six year old horses with Benjamin Robert at CSI Fontainebleau. Izzy by Picobello (Cicero Z x Capriano) on his turn was 9th in the youngster tour final. With Bertram Allen he finished with the fastest time, but a fault kept them from the victory in Wiesbaden. It's Me (Cicero Z x Poor Boy) became joint first in the seven year old horses under Jelmer Hoekstra in Lons-le-Saunier.

18-05-2015  Gigolo wins again and Gautcho wins Nations Cup!

Less than two weeks after Gigolo (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer v Koekshof) was victorious in the Grand Prix of Mannheim, he once again wrote a 1m50 class on his name. During CSI Eindhoven Gigolo kept his great shape. After winning the qualifier for the grand prix with Albert Zoer, he almost claimed victory again in the Grand Prix itself. The quickest time, but a fault on the last fence, brought them on a 4th place. At CSIO Odense the powerful Gautcho da Quinta proved he has still a lot to offer. With Catherine Van Roosbroeck the nine year old Cicero van Paemel Z x Upsilon vd Heffinck son was selected for the Nations Cup. With a fantastic clear round they lead the Belgian team to the victory! Cyrano d'Orbri (Cicero Z x Fabiolo xx) gained an 8th place in a 1m50 class at Le Touquet under José Thiry. Cicero II (Cicero Z x Guidam) became 8th in a 1m40 class under Tina Lund at CSIO La Baule. Jericho (Cicero Z x Parcival) jumped to a 6th place under Chanel De Baedts in the class for six and seven year old horses in Lier. 12-05-2015  Ginnis wins 1m50 proef

Ginnis van 't Geyzeven (Cicero Z x Heureka de la Loge) did great under her new rider Lorenzo de Luca. The mare managed to write a 1m50 class on her name, after being 5th in a 1m40 class earlier in the Italian Busto Arsizio. During CSI in Bonheiden Izzy by Picobello (Cicero Z x Capriano) became 6th in the final, after a joint first place in the seven year old horses. na een ex aequo eerste plaats bij de zevenjarige paarden. The first day I Circa d'Or (Cicero Z x Pluriel) also gained a joint first place under Marie Kundycki. Jewel de Kwakenbeek (Cicero Z x Quidam de Revel) was victorious in a class for six year olds in Mantes la Jolie. With Max Thirouin the powerful Jewel was the fastest and he gained another 6th place in the final. Thirouin was also 2nd with Balisto du Maillet (Cicero Z x Corland) in a 1m35 class. Cicero Barelière Z (Cicero Z x Concorde) became 6th under the saddle of Laurenz Buhl in a class for seven year old horses during CSI Norten-Hardenberg. In Palaiseau Chilhac de Macheco (Cicero Z x Darco) became joint first in the seven year olds under the saddle of onder het zadel van Geoffrey Beant.

08-05-2015  Gigolo wins Grand Prix of Mannheim!

The nine year old Gigolo (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer v Koekshof) was in the German Mannheim with Albert Zoer. The combination managed to qualify for the Grand Prix after a 9th place in a 1m55 qualifier. The great shape of the scopey Gigolo was continued to the 1m55 Grand Prix. After he jumped a clear round, he was the seventh combination to start in the jump-off with fourteen. With a fenomenal jump-off they wrote the Grand Prix on their name. Albert Zoer spoke in the highest terms of the Cicero son. "My feeling about this horse has been good, it  was right. He can jump really anything! It's really a good horse and he simply jumped good. Now he has the chance to keep evolving, which is nice." (source De Paardenkrant)

03-05-2015 Icos 4th in BC 7 year olds, Douglass wins in Fontainebleau

During the Longines Spring Classic of Flanders in Lummen the Belgian Championship for seven year old horses took place. In the first qualifier Icos (Cicero Z x Contender) under Olivier Philippaerts as well as Igor F (Cicero Z x Campus) under Gilles Dunon managed to jump a clear. Eventually it was Icos who placed him for the final, in which he also qualified for the jump-off after a clear round. In the jump-off he jumped once again faultless, resulting in a great 4th place in a BC in which over 210 horses started. Ems Illusion van de Bien (Cicero Z x Feo) also gained a 5th place in a 1m30 class in Lummen under Benny Naessens. In Fontainebleau Douglass Chavannais (Cicero Z x Ogano Sitte) did fantastic with Emilie Evrard. The mighty grey won the final for six year old horses, after he already became 7th earlier. Dalton (Cicero Z x Concorde) also jumped a clear round under Harrie Wiering Jr. Leon Thijssen was placed joint first in Maubeuge in the seven year olds with It's Me (Cicero Z x Poor Boy). In Redefin Gala D (Cicero Z x Cascadeur) jumped a clear 1m45 round.

26-04-2015  Grand Cru van Paemel wins GP Lier and Gautcho da Quinta superb in Antwerpen

The beautiful location at the docks in Antwerp were the stage of the Global Champions Tour this weekend. Besides the Global, there was also a three star competition jumping Antwerp. The nine year old Gautcho da Quinta (Cicero Z x Upsilon vd Heffinck) attracted attention under the saddle of Catherine Van Roosbroeck. In the 1m50 3* Grand Prix the fenomenal Gautcho stayed double clear and gained a 4th place. The day before he also jumped an effortless clear first round, with only a time penalty on the board. In the second round they once again jumped clear which resulted in a 9th place in the 1m50 class. Heaven van de Zanddijkhoeve (Cicero Z x Landetto) became 8th in a 1m30/35 class under Jef Wellens. Grand Cru van Paemel (Cicero Z x Silvio I) was with Brit Jake Saywell in Lier for the CSI Youth. The combination claimed victory in the 1m45 Grand Prix for the Young Riders. At the same moment  Galand van het Venushof(Cicero Z x Pachat II) was victorious in Magna Racino. Under the saddle of Marietta Robitza they stayed double clear in a 1m40 class and won. Gellah III (Cicero Z x Epsom Gesmeray) was in shape in Hardelot with three placings. Under Christophe Vanderhasselt she gained a 2nd place in a 1m40 class. The days before she became 3rd and 8th in 1m35 classes.

19-04-2015  Cicero offspring doing well in Lummen

In Lummen the annual springtour took place where the young horses have an important role. Our gorgeous Jaguar van Paemel(Cicero Z x Sandro Z) was fantastic the three days. With Dirk Demeersman he jumped three days clear and became 4th in the final. In the other final for six year olds Jericho (Cicero Z x Parcival) was placed 8th with Chanel De Baedts, after a clear round earlier. Loris Berrittella became 10th with Dirka des Brumes (Cicero Z x Voltaire). In the qualifiers Julyssi van Orti (Cicero Z x Vigo d'Arsouilles) gained a 3rd place with Ann Carton-Grootjans.  With JJ Baba (Cicero Z x Diamant de Semilly) Dirk Demeersman became 5th. Furthermore Jethro van 't Smishof (Cicero Z x Darco) and Mike Van Haudt, Excellent (Cicero Z x Ahorn Z) and Pim Mulder and Elietro vd Berghoeve (Cicero Z x Goodtimes) and Jan Vlemmix jumped also clear. Igor F (Cicero Z x Campus) jumped clear with Gilles Dunon in the seven year old horses, just like Icos (Cicero Z x Contender) under Olivier Philippaerts. Doirin Clover Boy (Cicero Z x Captrain Clover) stayed clear in the qualifier under the saddle of David Simpson and gained a 10th place in the final for five year old horses. Ksicedoro St. Hubertushoeve (Cicero Z x Landor S) was also clear with Manfredi Macchiarella. Goran van den Ossezak (Cicero Z x Littorio) was victorious in a 1m35 class with Luis Sabino Gonçalves. Besides that they also became 5th in another 1m35 class. Himalaya van Paemel (Cicero Z x Skippy II) was 4th in a 1m30 class under Geoffrey Cobbaut. During the Spring Tour in Lummen the super jumping Gautcho da Quinta (Cicero Z x Upsilon vd Heffinck) was clearly in shape. Under the saddle of Catherine Van Roosbroeck he gained a 3rd, 4th and 7th place in 1m45 classes. In another 1m45 class there was an 8th place for Grand Cru van Paemel (Cicero Z x Silvio I) and Jake Saywell. Merqusio (Cicero Z x Flamenco de Semilly) became 10th in a 1m40 clas with Chloe Aston. Havinia vd Roshoeve (Cicero Z x Lacantus) was placed 3rd in the 1m30 Grand Prix with Jake Saywell. Karel Cox gained a 4th place with Izerro (Cicero Z x Olisco) in a 1m20 class. Jackpot van de Molendreef (Cicero Z x Heartbreaker) was 7th in a 1m10 class under Louke Baeten. Cerise des Brumes (Cicero Z x Nonstop) gained a 4th and 5th place in the seven year olds under Catherine Van Roosbroeck. Kristien Peeters jumped also two days clear with Iken von der Weretherbach (Cicero Z x Calvin). In the class for six year old horses Camargue (Cicero Z x Orlando) finished 3rd with Christoph Brüse. Ann Carton-Grootjans was 7th with Julyssi van Orti (Cicero Z x Vigo d'Arsouilles). For J Adore van de Keihoeve (Cicero Z x Pachat II) under Jeroen Appelen, Douglass Chavannais (Cicero Z x Ogano Sitte) and Emilie Evrard, Retro III (Cicero Z x For Pleasure) & Anthony Condon and Jericho V (Cicero Z x Darco) and Jan Van Dijck there where also clear rounds. In the final for five year old horses Kyara van de Haverbilken (Cicero Z x Wandor vd Mispelaere) became 6th under Kristien Peeters. She also jumped double clear with Kicero van 't Steenbeek (Cicero Z x Wellington). Just like the days before. At the  domains of Zangersheide in Lanaken Z-Tour takes place. Gala D (Cicero Z x Cascadeur) was nicely 8th in a 1m45 class with Andreas Kreuzer. Under Betram Allen Izzy by Picobello (Cicero Z x Capriano) jumped to a 7th place in a 1m35 class. In a 1m30 class Iris (Cicero Z x Carthago Z) gained a 4th place under Carron Nicol. Ginnis van 't Geyzeven (Cicero Z x Heureka de la Loge) was placed 10th with Lorenzo de Luca in a 1m45 class in Vilamoura.  Himalaya van Paemel (Cicero Z x Skippy II) became 8th in a 1m35 class under Geoffrey Cobbaut at CSI Sancourt. In Arezzo Goika van de Paardenhoeven (Cicero Z x Victor vh Plutoniahof) became 7th and 10th in 1m30 classes under the saddle of Vittoria Vignale. In Oliva Grandis van de Lindehoeve (Cicero Z x Heartbreaker) was 5th with Laura Robinson in a 1m35 class.

Fenia van Klapscheut(Cicero Z x Ahorn Z) became 10th under the saddle of Marcel Marschall in a 1m50 class during CSI Braunschweig. They also gained a 3rd place in a 1m45 class. At the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington Laura Kraut started with Cicero's Electric (Cicero Z x Mistral) in the classes for six year olds horses, resulting in a 3rd, 4th and 7th place. With Icos(Cicero Z x Contender) Olivier Philippaerts has a new asset. In the classes for seven year old horses during the springtour in Arezzo the combination gained numerous top ten placings. They were placed 3rd, twice 4th, 6th and 9th. Petronella Andersson became 7th with Isaura VG (Cicero Z x Heartbreaker). Vive la Vies Ciwino (Cicero Z x Drossan) was 10th in a 1m35 class under Andrea Campagnaro. Jungle Boy (Cicero Z x Obsession B) gained a 3rd and 6th place under Francois Brichart in the class for six year olds horses during the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour. It's Me (Cicero Z x Poor Boy) was placed 8th in the seven year olds under the saddle of Leon Thijssen. At the Z-Tour Gitte van de Molendrieshoeve (Cicero Z x Nagano) became 8th in a 1m25 class under Reece Oliver. I Circa d'Or (Cicero Z x Pluriel) and Marie Kundycki stranded on a 9th place in a 1m25 class. In the six year olds Claudette Z (Cicero Z x Karandasj) jumped double clear under Felix Schneider. Vitalia d'Ash (Cicero Z x Ou Vas Tu III) was joint first with Guillaume Fourtrier in the six year old horses in Oliva during the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour. Jessi d'Haverlande (Cicero Z x Grandeur) stayed two days clear in the classes for six year olds in Cagnes sur Mer. Costa Rica vh Waterschoot Z (Cicero Z x Parco) was 8th with Julia Dallamano in the seven year olds in Barbizon. J.C. Jewel's Ruby (Cicero Z x Pik Solo) and Julie Marie Czekalla were succesful in Greven. They won a 1m25 class for six year olds and were 2nd and 4th in 1m15 classes. Hallo-Croket van Puyenbroeck (Cicero Z x Darco) won a 1m30 class in Finland with Jenna-Jasmin Pehkonen.

22-03-2015  Kirr Royal wins stallion competition, Kingston 4th

The final of the Pavo stallion competition edition 2015 was ridden at Het Zilveren Spoor in Moorsele. In the five year old stallions the success of Stoeterij Van Paemel was great.  From the 40 five year olds, only 9 combinations succeeded tot jump five courses clear, thus placing them for the final jump-off. Our Zangersheide approved Kingston van Paemel (Numero Uno x Randel Z) was one of the first to begin and did it nicely clear with Filip Lacus. This brought him to a great 4th place in the final placings. The victory was reserved for the Cicero Z van Paemel x Sandro son, Kirr Royal van Paemel. With Bernardo Mathias the elastic stallion was nearly 3 seconds faster than the second. This place was for Kasperato van de Roshoeve, a son of Esperanto van Paemel by a Lacantus mare and Bob Janssens. The mighty jumping Jaguar van Paemel (Cicero Z x Sandro Z) jumped a clear course under the saddle of Dirk Demeersman, just like in Gesves. Click here for the video of Kingston in Moorsele. In Dortmund Gigolo(Cicero Z x Quickfeuer v Koekshof) gained a nice 10th place in a 1m50 class under the saddle of Albert Zoer. Bertram Allen saddled Izzy by Picobello (Cicero Z x Capriano) for the youngster tour. In the 1m45 final they jumped towards a 6th place. During CSI Le Mans Himalaya van Paemel (Cicero Z x Skippy II) became 6th and 9th under Geoffrey Cobbaut in 1m40 classes. Balisto du Maillet (Cicero Z x Corland) and Max Thirouin were 8th in a 1m35 class. Casual Z (Cicero Z x Andiamo) was again placed 6th with Karel Cox in the six year old horses during the Costa Del Sol Equestrian Tour in Mijas. Flavio (Cicero Z x Erdball) became 10th in the five year olds with Daniel Moseley in Vilamoura. Divaro Maeza (Cicero Z x Persian II) and Ricardo Jurado jumped to a 9th place in a 1m30 class at the Sunshine Tour. In Oliva at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour there was also a 10th place for Gloria (Cicero Z x Silvio I) and Hilary Hinde in the six year olds. Chilli Cheeks (Cicero Z x Cassini II) was clear the day before under Fabian Gachnang, just like Jannike P (Cicero Z x Cevin) with Pascal Bettschen. Ikita von der Weretherbach (Cicero Z x Lambada v Berkenbroeck) became 3rd with Ivan Dalton in a 1m30 class. At the Provincial LRV Championship of Brabant the Cicero offspring was succesful. Hamira van het Roelhof (fm. Wendekreis) became the new Provincial Champion in Zwaar dunder Stijn Craessaerts! In midden the victory was for Delphine Coomans and Gitta van het Tweevijvershof (fm. Cevin).

28-02-2015  Fenia wins 1m45 and other placings for Cicero offspring

Fenia van Klapscheut (Cicero Z x Ahorn Z) has drawn attention during CSI Graz. Under the saddle of Marcel Marschall she won a 1m45 class! Tina Lund also did great with Cicero II (Cicero Z x Guidam). The combination became 6th in a 1m45 class in Abu Dhabi. Ciska van Paemel Z(Cicero Z x Campus) on her turn gained a 6th place with Aldrick Cheronnet in the 1m45 Grand Prix of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva. Ikita von der Weretherbach (Cicero Z x Lambada van Berkenbroeck) and Ivan Dalton were 10th in the seven year olds. Ilias (Cicero Z x Orame) was also clear with Ben Dunning.  Gloria (ex Jitzke van't Heirhof) jumped two days faultless in the six year olds with Hilary Hinde. Chilli Cheeks (Cicero Z x Cassini II) was also clear under Fabian Gachnang, just like Jannike P (Cicero Z x Cevin) and Pascal Bettschen. Hot Topic(Cicero Z x Hattrick) was present in Wellington. In The Ridge she became 2nd in the 1m40 Grand Prix with Nina Fagerstrom. She also won a 1m35 class and was 2nd in another 1m35 class. In Vilamoura there was a 9th place for Goran van den Ossezak (Cicero Z x Littorio) and Luis Sabino Goncalves in a 1m35 class. Flavio (Cicero Z x Erdball) stayed twice clear in the five year olds under Daniel Moseley.   Casual Z (Cicero Z x Andiamo) was placed 6th in the six year olds under the saddle of Karel Cox in Mijas. Divaro Maeza (Cicero Z x Persian II) and Ricardo Jurado stayed twice clear in the seven year olds during the Sunshine Tour. Ideale van de Nachtegaele (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer v Koekshof) was also faultless with Sergio Alvarez Moya.

In the meantime the 'van Paemel' stallions are performing well in the Pavo stallion competition. The third leg was held in Stal Hulsterlo during Jump 4 Victory. Our beautiful beautiful Jaguar van Paemel (Cicero Z x Sandro Z) was placed 2nd with Dirk Demeersman in the six year olds at just a few hundredths of victory. Kingston van Paemel (Numero Uno x Randel Z) jumped once again clear under Filip Lacus, just like Kirr Royal van Paemel (Cicero Z x Sandro Z) and Bernardo Matthias. In the Grand Prix of Jump 4 Victory the 3rd and 4th place was taken by Cicero offspring. The third place was for Gellah III (Cicero Z x Epsom Gesmeray) and Christophe Vanderhasselt. They were followed by Gautcho da Quinta (Cicero Z x Upsilon vd Heffinck and Catherine Van Roosbroeck. Albert Zoer became 9th with Gigolo (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer v Koekshof) in a 1m40 class during CSI Roosendaal. Cicero II (Cicero Z x Guidam) started at CSIO Abu Dhabi with Tina Lund. They gained a 4th place in a 1m30 class. At the Costa del Sol Equestrian Tour in Mijas there was a third place for Ginnis van 't Geyzeven (Cicero Z x Heureka de la Loge) with Manuel Fernandez Saro in a 1m45 class. The combination also became 4th in a 1m40. An 8th place was reserved for Jericho St. Hubertushoeve (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer v Koekshof) in the six year olds with Jesus Torres Garcia. Divaro Maeza (Cicero Z x Persian II) became 8th in the seven year olds with Ricardo Jurado. Cicero II (ex Chapeau) (Cicero Z x Guidam) became 7th in a 1m40 class under Naji Rachid at CSI Sharjah. It's Me (Cicero Z x Poor Boy) jumped to a 2nd place in the class for young horses under the saddle of Karel Cox in Drachten. At the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington Cicero's Electric (Cicero Z x Mistal) was 4th in the six year olds under Derek Bauer. In Mijas the Costa del Sol Equestrian Tour is taking place. Jericho St. Hubertushoeve (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer v Koekshof) did well with Jesus Torres Garcia. They gained a 2nd and 6th place and were joint first on the first day in the six year olds. The seven year old Divaro Maeza (Cicero Z x Persian II) became joint 1st under Ricardo Jurado. In the national classes the Cicero descendants did also great. Jordan D&K (Cicero Z x Feinschnitt I vd Richter) became 3rd in the Masters at age six with Jurgen Gregoor in Zutendaal. Java S Fair (Cicero Z x Burggraaf) was 5th with Bob Janssens in the six year olds during the WEN.   Our Z approved Kingston van Paemel(Numero Uno x Randel Z) is doing well in the Pavo stallion competition. With Filip Lacus he already jumped twice a clear round in the five year old stallions. Kirr Royal van Paemel (Cicero Z x Sandro Z) did the same under Bernardo Matthias. His full brother Jaguar van Paemel will keep jumping under the saddle of Dirk Demeersman. In Lier the combination stayed clear in the six year olds. At the Horse Auction Belgium in Peer Kalinka von der Weretherbach (Cicero Z x Calvin) was sold for the price of € 31.000. This made her one of the more expensive horses at the auction. 10-01-2015  Gigolo 3rd in GP Maastricht and Moneymaker wins loose jumping

Gigolo (Cicero Z x Quickfeuer van Koekshof) performed once again strongly the last couple of months of 2014. In the Grand Prix of CSI Maastricht he gained a great 3rd place under Albert Zoer! This after an 8th place in a 1m50 class the day before. A few weeks later they finished 4th in the Grand Prix during CSI Roosendaal. Gautcho da Quinta (Cicero Z x Upsilon vd Heffinck) jumped to a nice 4th place in the Queens Cup at CSI Mechelen. He stayed double clear in this 1m45 class under Catherine Van Roosbroeck. In Le Mans Himalaya van Paemel (Cicero Z x Skippy II) became 3rd and 7th in the classes for seven year old horses under the saddle of Geoffrey Cobbaut. In the loose jumping Cicero deliverd a real eyecatcher. Moneymaker van de Axelhoeve(vm. Cumano) won the qualifier for the loose jumping competition in Mechelen. The impressive, scopey with a high swinging back end jumper was placed second in the final during Jumping Mechelen.
